I talk about the importance of reading copywriting books.
A LOT.
A few of my fav copy boooooks 🤤
But some people struggle with physically reading books.
If you'd rather swim with crocodiles than pick up a paperback...
NO judgment here. That's totally fine! Everyone learns differently.
But don't let it stop you from soaking up juicy copy knowledge from the legends.
If that's you, then the easiest way out is to LISTEN to copywriting books instead.
Very few are available as audiobooks. But thankfully, the best copywriting book IS.
You can listen to the entire Adweek Copywriting Handbook by Joseph Sugarman on YouTube.
When I was working my final 9 to 5 (12 hour day job)... I didn't have much free time. So I turned my drive to work (1 hr both ways) into copy training time.
I'd listen to audiobooks, podcasts, YouTube and courses. Two hours of training every day. It's a big part of why I was able to land a client in 6 weeks, quit my job in 3 months, and hit my first $9,000 month in 12 months.
If you're super busy (like I was when I was at my final day job)... then one of the best things you can do is listen to copy training while you're busy doing passive activities like:
Driving to work
Cleaning the dishes
Walking the dog
Working out
Eating a sandwich
You already have to do these tasks daily... so might as well turn them into copy learning time!
